SERATEC Body Fluid Identification Tests
SERATEC develops and manufactures forensic rapid test systems for the detection and differentiation of human body fluids, including semen, saliva, blood, and menstrual blood. The range includes PSA Semiquant, AmylaseTest, HemDirect, PMB Test, PAM Test, AmylasePaper, and crime scene versions of selected tests. Each test is a single-use lateral flow device designed for use directly on sample extracts prepared from evidence items.
PMB Test — Peripheral & Menstrual Blood Differentiation
The SERATEC PMB Test is a duplex lateral flow assay for the simultaneous detection of human hemoglobin and human D-dimer, supporting the differentiation of peripheral blood and menstrual blood in forensic stain extracts. The result must be interpreted in the full context of casework circumstances and validated SOPs. Cat. No. PMB/30 — box of 30 test cards with dilution buffer.
PAM Test — Duplex Semen & Saliva Screening
The PAM Test screens for both semen and saliva in a single assay through duplex detection of prostate-specific antigen (PSA) and alpha-amylase. One test delivers two validated results in as little as 10 minutes, saving sample material and screening time in sexual assault and other forensic casework. SERATEC HemDirect — Human Blood Detection
SERATEC HemDirect is a forensic lateral flow test for the detection of human hemoglobin in stain extracts. It provides rapid screening for human blood in forensic samples and is designed for use in laboratory and crime scene workflows. Simple to use, requiring minimal equipment and training.
